Week 2

Hi there! Here is what i have learned on week 2!

Madam Azidatun introduced us to a software called Canva! It was my first time heard about this and I was very curios and eager to learn on how to use it. 

Canva is the software that provided us with the simple design or template that we can edit according to our own creativity. It also gave us a very high quality of pictures and templates of design in making a poster, logo or editing an image for our own use. The software was very easy to use and enables us the user to fully express our own creativity.

So for this class, we need to create our very own header photo for our first post by using this software. At first I was a bit clueless and lack of ideas on how to use it. But with the guidance of my lecturer and friends I manage to produce the image!

Other than that, I learned a new topic which is called CALL. No it is not related to mobile phones. CALL is Computer Assisted Language Learning. CALL is a process and activity that used computer as assistance to learn and teach a new language. I found it very fascinating as we are living in an era very which is depending on technology. As it is one of the interesting way for learners to learn and enhance their language skills

The are three progression of  CALL which are:

1. Behaviouristic CALL 

As what i know about this type of progression is about the repetition of the word that can be practice that make the learners remember on the new words easily.

2. Communicative CALL

For this type of CALL, as what i remembered from the last lesson is all about the focus on the usage of the language as it can encourage the students to learn the new words by using a good approach from the teacher itself. For example is the discussion that been held by the students itself or the online discussion that can make them interest and increase their enthusiast to learn a new language.

3. Integrated CALL

For this progression of CALL, this is the upgraded type of available CALL that exist into a new modern ways or in other words including a real things that capable to make the progression become more better than before.
